The LANDCAL P1600B2 is a new high stability benchtop primary temperature calibration source designed to test and accurately calibrate most industrial infrared radiation thermometers at temperatures up to 1600°C/2900°F. Isothermal housing provides a highly stable, uniform temperature along the length of the cavity and is suitable for calibration of temperature recording instruments as well as thermocouple calibration by comparison. The large diameter, tapered end black body cavity is heated by six rugged silicon carbide heating elements evenly spaced around the cavity to operate reliably and sustainably for many years.
parameter
Maximum temperature: 1600°C(C)/2900°F (F)
Recommended temperature: 500 to 1550°C/950 to 2850°F
Heating speed: Heat to 1400°C/2550°F in 1.5 hours
Stability: Radiation temperature change will be less than ±0.2°C (±0.4°F) over 60 minutes at the calibrated source control temperature
