Using JOFRA temperature calibrator saves time and money

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA -- AMETEK STC is pleased to introduce the new JOFRA MTC-650A Marine Temperature Calibrator. The MTC650A offers an improved user interface with a three-year calibration cycle and is the ideal choice for the Marine industry.

Regular shore calibration is time-consuming and expensive. The new JOFRA MTC-650A only needs to be calibrated once every three years, saving 66% in cost and time.

The all-new MTC650A has a temperature range of 28 to 650°C (82 to 1202°F), stability of ± 0.1°C (± 0.18°F) throughout the range, accuracy of ± 0.9°C (± 1.62°F) in one year, Three years accuracy ± 1.8°C (± 3.24°F). The MVI function ensures the same accuracy when the power supply fluctuates.

The MTC-650A features an intuitive and easy-to-use user interface, automatic on-off calibration and automatic stepping, and can be accessed by pressing a button. Color icon display makes it easier and faster to determine the hot and cold state of the calibrator, reducing the possibility of injury. The stability prompt and time prompt help the user determine the status of calibration.

MTC series Marine calibrators are robust, lightweight and suitable for use on ships. Optional carrying case provides further protection and can store casing, bracket, test line, instruction manual, insulation plug and casing tools.
